Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are on the rocks again, according to a new report, and Sheryl Crow's guest role on The Voice may be to blame.“Despite being married, Miranda and Blake are like ships passing in the night,” a National Enquirer source says of the problems they're having.
“Between their touring schedules and public appearances, they’re actually together only about 50 days a year. That’s no way to run a marriage."
"Suspicions and jealousies creep up between them.”
Speaking of jealousies, Blake's decision to have Sheryl Crow come on The Voice as his team's guest mentor has further caused a rift with Miranda.
“Miranda lit into Blake. She bawled and screamed that he’s heartless, and he yelled back that she needs to chill out and trust him,” a pal said.
“Sheryl’s been texting and calling Blake during off-hours, and Miranda is extremely annoyed,” says the insider, although there's one ironic twist:
Miranda was his first choice for the role.
“Blake originally wanted Miranda to be his celebrity mentor this season, and of course the producers of The Voice were all for it,” an insider revealed.
“While she had to turn it down because there would be conflicts with her schedule, it still became the cause of a few major arguments between them.”
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton reportedly fight over where they'd like to spend time, and flirty Blake being surrounded by young girls doesn't help.
“Remember, Miranda and Blake began flirting with each other while he was still married,” the pal said of the cheating rumors that hit close to home.
“Blake and Miranda really need to make the effort to give their marriage time to blossom and grow. As it is now, they’re drifting further and further apart.”
Maybe so, but just last month, Miranda publicly announced that “divorce is not an option,” and said that she'd stand by her man.
They've mocked previous coverage of their demise as well, so if this marriage is in turmoil, we expect they're aware of it and working on it at least.
