Justin Bieber’s Grandpa Banned From ‘Believe’ Premiere For Dissing Him

Despite Justin Bieber‘s recent antics, he’s always been good to his family — at least, most of his family. Justin’s grandfather, George Bieber, claims the 19-year-old pop star has forsaken him and his wife, Kathy Bieber, and says they sometimes feel “he doesn’t care.” That doesn’t sound like the Justin we know and love, so we’re guessing if his relationship with his grandparents is strained, it’s probably because his grandfather shockingly slammed the Biebs’ behavior to the press in April!

Justin Bieber’s Grandfather’s Diss — Biebs Banned Him From ‘Believe’ Premiere

George, who lives in Ontario, Canada, says he would have loved to attend the Believe premiere in LA but he and his wife were not welcome, Radar Online reports.George was reluctant to open about his relationship with Justin, sighing deeply and telling Radar, “I don’t want to talk about it.”
He’s probably keeping mum now because he may have already ruined his relationship with his grandson by being too vocal about his bad behavior in the past.
“It’s like we now live on different planets,” George told the New York Daily News in April. “He never calls us, and now I sometimes think he doesn’t care. It does make me sad, as right now our lives are pretty desperate.”
“I can’t work due to illness, so there is barely any money coming into the house,” he explained. “His grandma has a bad back, too, but works like a dog hauling huge bags of paint powder 40 hours a week.”
Meanwhile, Justin showers his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Diane Dale, with gifts and affection, George says. “For them, nothing seems to be too much trouble, and he buys them new houses, cars, luxury holidays, anything they want — but for us, nothing.”
Justin “has just got too big for his britches,” George said. “He will always be my grandson, and I am and always will be so proud of him. It’s just sad that he is not a bigger part of our life.”

Justin Bieber’s Retirement Rumors

This is all very surprising because when Justin announced his plans to retire on Dec. 16, he said it was because he needed to figure himself out “as a man,” and spend more time with his family after so many years on tour.
“I wanna get to know my family more,” he told MTV News at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live. ”I’ve been away so much, I’ve missed a lot of great years with my brother and sister.”
